G’day from Mungo Lodge, again,
Today was a rather lazy day. After breakfast, ’round 8:50, I headed to the Mungo National Park, just a few km away. The first port of call was the Walls of China, where I walked through the sand dunes for about a half hour.
I then took a loop road around the park, having morning coffee at a quarter past 10, at the Rosewood Rest Area, accompanied by some feathered friends (’til I got out of the car).
I was back at the lodge by about 11:30 after having covered just 85km. There’s no Google Map today, as I’d have to draw the route manually (Google Maps can automatically follow roads, but not what it considers tracks).
Lunch was had at the lodge, and much of the afternoon was spent in the dining room, either “working” on my laptop (the wireless signal was too weak in my room), or reading on my iPad in front of an open fire.
I’m just about to have dinner. I’ll catch up with Scrabble after that.
Cheers,
Julian
