G’day from Mermaid Waters,

Left Goondiwindi at 7:30am, and arrived safely at the hotel just after 1:00pm. I didn’t stop to eat along the way, as I had a bigger breakfast than I usually do. I got a bit lost on the Gold Coast when the navigation woman told me to take a “half turn to the left”. I had no idea what that meant, and on taking the next turn left, I ended up on the freeway to Brisbane. On realising I was “off route”, she told me to make a U-turn if possible, which would have been a bit difficult, with 3-lanes of traffic each way. I took the next exit from the freeway, and she had me back on track in no time!

I probably won’t file any more reports ’til Monday when I’m on my way back, unless something noteworthy happens. I’ll be coming back via the coast.
