Hi from Dubbo,

I awoke to a light rain, and a cool temperature, so elected to discard the shorts and sandals for jeans and shoes. I left the motel around 7:30, continuing south down the New England Highway to Glenn Innes, as the rain got heavier. I then proceed west along the Gwydir Highway, stopping in Inverell to visit the bakery just after 9, by which time the rain had stopped. At Moree, where I filled the tank, I turned south again, down the Newell Highway, stopping in Narrabri around 12:30 for a Subway lunch. At Coonabarabran I took the Oxley Highway through Gilgandra, and was in my motel room by 3:45pm.

I should be home some time tomorrow afternoon.
