Hello from Narooma,
I was away by 8:15 this morning, toting a picnic lunch from the motel, heading south along the Princes Highway. I filled the fuel tank in Cobargo at 8:45, then headed west to the Wadbilliga National Park, 25km away. I had morning coffee in the park at the Wadbilliga River Crossing ’round 10.
From there I continued west, climbing to the top of the escarpment. On reaching the Tuross Road, I headed north for some 40 kilometers or so, before turning east, and eventually descending from the escarpment, on the Woila Creek Fire Trail. I had lunch at about 12:30, at the Woila Creek Crossing, at the bottom of the descent. After lunch, I headed in an an easterly direction to Bodalla, then south to “home”, where I arrived ’round 2:30, after having done a 230km loop.
Cheers,
Julian
