Greetings from Yass,
Since it’s also school holidays in Victoria, I decided to head for home, across the Hay plains. I got away from the motel at about 8am, a bit later than usual, as the earliest I could get breakfast was 7:30am, as opposed to my usual 7am. I reached Balranald around 10am, and got a couple of steak and onion pies, and had morning coffee on the outskirts. I reached Hay around 11:30am, and filled up the tank again. Lunch was had somewhere between Hay and Naranderra, when I found a suitable place to stop.
By the time 4pm rolled around, I was approaching Yass, so I decided I’d overnight there, as I reckoned I’d been driving for long enough, and there’s no rush to get home, even though it’s only 2.5 to 3 hours away,
See you soon,
Julian
