Greetings from Shell Cove,
I’m back; I left the motel in Yass at about 7:30am, filled up the tank again, cleaned the bugs off the windscreen again, then headed for home, where I arrived at 10:10am.
My new mobile ‘phone came in handy; at both Cobar and Wentworth my Tablet PC wouldn’t connect to Telstra Bigpond’s national dialup number (even though I got a modem answering if I dialled it manually?) so I used the GPRS facility to send the email. It also makes a good alarm clock; it’s much easier to set the alarm on than the clock radios in the motels, and the alarm starts off soft and gradually gets louder and louder, so as not to startle you.
Cheers,
Julian
